It was made possible thanks to the successful passing of exams by LokoTech-Signal engineers at Schneider Electric in the Modicon Safety direction. They were tested for the knowledge and ability to use the Modicon M580 Safety line of controllers to build safe control systems, as well as an understanding of fundamental standards in the field of functional safety, such as IEC61580, IEC62061.
LokoTech-Signal is the only company in Russia that is certified in two areas at once: the Control System (building control systems on standard industrial controllers) and Modicon Safety (using industrial controllers with an increased level of security).
Madiha Khalfy, System Integration Director at Schneider Electric, congratulated LokoTech-Signal, noting the significance of the achievement, which testifies to the outstanding technical competencies and abilities of the company in implementing projects.
"The Schneider Electric certificate is another milestone that not only confirms the professionalism of the team but also gives us significant advantages in implementing control systems based on widely available industrial hardware components. This provides much greater freedom for the end customer, the flexibility of building control systems and reliability in operation, " commented Andrey Romanchikov, CEO of LokoTech-Signal.
